Thank you for joining me on this journey.
This custom guided imagery journey is specifically created for you as you move through your treatment. My intention in crafting this audio is to provide a calm, supportive sanctuary for your mind and body to rest in while your system does its monumental work.
I wanted to share a brief note on why this approach is so powerful. Modern science has shown us that our nervous systems do not actually know the difference between an event happening outside of us and an experience we are vividly imagining on the inside. When we visualize a place of absolute safety, deep peace, and vibrant life, our bodies respond to that internal environment by shifting into a state of deep rest, receptivity, and cellular healing.
Right now, your body is receiving these new stem cells, which act as the ultimate seeds of life. This meditation is designed to help you consciously soften your inner environment, preparing the warmest, richest soil possible for those seeds to land, take root, and rebuild. I have called this journey The Fertile Field of Red Poppies to represent the vibrant, healthy garden in your body and bones. The red poppies represent your luxuriously healthy red blood cells, the white daisies are the strong security guards of your immune system, and the rich green clover is the healthy, protective cover of your fertile soil of bone marrow.
You do not have to work hard for this. Your only job during this journey is to rest and let yourself be absorbed in the imagery as the quiet intelligence of your body does what it already knows how to do.
Wishing you deep rest, comfort, and a smooth journey ahead.
Warmly,
Julia Schmidt, MA
